About Thai Yoga Bodywork
Thai bodywork is one of the ancient healing arts of traditional Thai medicine.
This artform has been practiced for over 1,000 years and is based on the intrinsic energy
flow and energy balance theory of health and healing. It is about balance, health and happiness.
Receiving Thai is the ultimate lazy and simple way of obtaining all the benefits of yoga without
doing it yourself. The practitioner manipulates the receiver's body into different yoga postures
and stretches, pushes the body a "little" further than it would normally go, while massaging
the body in a continuous, flowing and rhythmic technique. Feet, palms, thumbs, elbows and knees
are the tools of the Thai therapist.
Thai bodywork involves different forms of touch: pressing, stretching and twisting.
Those who receive Thai bodywork regularly experience of relaxation, peace of mind,
happiness and flexibility.
Sessions run from 60-120 minutes.
